BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and two other senior leaders of the party have been invited to attend the US national prayer breakfast in Washington.

 National Prayer Breakfast is a yearly event held in Washington, DC, usually on the first Thursday in February each year.

The other invitees are Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury.  BNP secretary general received the official invitation on 10 January, confirmed Shayrul Kabir Khan of BNP Media Cell, on Saturday.

Shayrul added that the National Prayer Breakfast is scheduled to take place from February 5 to 6 in Washington, DC.  The event is an annual gathering that brings together political, business, and religious leaders from around the world for discussions and prayers focusing on global peace and unity.
