Amu arrested

Amu arrested

Former Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu was arrested from West Dhanmondi area in Dhaka on Wednesday.

A team of DB police arrested Amu, also an advisory council member of Awami League, in the morning, said Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). He was wanted in different cases, he said.

He was elected Member of the Parliament from Jhalakati-2 constituency three times.
