India-Pakistan serves imperialist's interests, not the people: Tipu Biswas
The recent outbreak of war between India and Pakistan is entirely disconnected from the genuine interests of the people of either nation, says the National People's Front. In a strongly worded press release, the party's central leadership condemned the war, calling it a diversionary tactic by the ruling classes of both countries to mask their failures in governance and economic management.
Tipu Biswas, National Coordinator of the National People's Front, stated:
“We do not support the ongoing war between India and Pakistan.
This conflict does not reflect the interests of the common people of the Indian subcontinent and must be stopped immediately.
At the same time, we must organize anti-war protests and rallies across all regions to resist and denounce this war effort.”
Biswas further accused both governments—dominated by military-bureaucratic elites and profit-driven regimes—of orchestrating this conflict to reinforce exploitative control over the general population while avoiding the core socio-economic problems plaguing both countries.
“The ruling classes of both India and Pakistan, acting as accomplices of imperialist powers, are exploiting national sentiment and public emotion through manipulated media narratives,” the statement said.
The National People's Front called on the citizens of both countries to unite, resist these divisive war tactics, and intensify the struggle for democratic states and constitutions that truly represent the people's interests.
