JCI Bangladesh to empower creative young entrepreneurs
Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh has launched the Creative Young Entrepreneurs (CYE) programme through unveiling website of the event for this year.
JCI Bangladesh national president Kazi Fahad was chief guest while event advisor Tahsin Azim Shezan, executive vice president Md Altamis Nabil and national strategic chairperson Tushar Malek were present at the launching programme in Gulshan on Tuesday.
CYE is an annual global award competition held by JCI across more than 100 countries to recognize and honor young entrepreneurs who have started innovative businesses or projects that make a positive impact on their communities. Besides, CYE Award aims to identify, celebrate, and empower the country’s most innovative and impact-driven entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40.
In his address, National President Kazi Fahad laid emphasise the organization's 2025 vision, encapsulated in the motto ‘We Can Make It’. He highlighted JCI Bangladesh's commitment to empowering young leaders and fostering innovation across the nation.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the CYE Bangladesh 2025 website, accessible at cye.jcibd.com. This platform aims to spotlight young entrepreneurs, providing them with opportunities to showcase their innovative ventures and connect with potential investors. The CYE program is designed to recognize and support creative business solutions that address contemporary challenges.
The bootcamp round, which shortlists 30 CYE participants, will take place on 17 May, 2025, and the grand finale for this competition to choose the top 3, along with the CYE summit, on end July this year.
Shortlisted participants from the national round will also get opportunities to participate in JCI ASPAC in Mongolia and also JCI World Congress in Tunisia this year, along with the top 3 to win a total of Tk5 lakh grant prizes and more than Tk1 crore Investment Fund for high-potential ventures upon interest from connected investors.
